Industries Alumina


SysCAD Alumina add-on includes a detailed industry specific precipitation unit operation for predicting crystallization of the hydrate. The Bayer Properties model is used for calculating thermodynamic properties of liquors within an Alumina refinery.

SysCAD Potash Add-on includes an industry specific Evaporator and Crystallizer unit operations. The Potash Properties model is used for calculating thermodynamic properties and solubilities of solutions within a Potash circuit.

Industries Sugar

Sugar Factories

SysCAD Sugar Add-on includes multiple industry specific unit operations such as Cane Shredder, Crystalizer, Juice Screen and Vacuum Pan. The Sugar Properties model is used for calculating thermodynamic properties and solubilities of solutions within a Sugar factory.

Industries Base Metals

Base Metals

SysCAD has been used extensively to model hydrometallurgical process plants including circuits for the recovery of base metals. In studies, design and operations SysCAD has provided value for production of base metals including Copper, Lead, Nickel and Zinc.

Industries Lithium


SysCAD is widely used as the preferred simulation tool in the growing Lithium industry. This is mainly due to the fact that SysCAD has all of the functionality necessary for simulating Lithium facilities – including high temperature processes, numerous purification operations, Crystallisation and, importantly, the ability to handle numerous large recycles.
