Tanai Marín will present “ChemApp for SysCAD – Plant-Wide Flowsheet Simulation: Seven Years of Experience”, showcasing how embedding ChemApp within SysCAD’s Thermodynamic Calculation Engine (TCE) enables rigorous thermodynamics directly in steady-state and dynamic plant-wide process simulations.
The presentation will cover:
- Seven years of industrial experience with the SysCAD–ChemApp interface
- The benefits of integrating thermodynamics into full process flowsheets
- SysCAD’s automatic parallelisation of ChemApp calculations for fast plant-wide optimisation
- Practical lessons learned, from CST preparation and species mapping to model validation
